new phone in the house!!! samsung sgh(again) i780.. nice~~ same prob with the old phone i think.. cant see well under direct sun, no 3.5mm normal audio jack, 2 mp camera (yes i hear you bestie, thats low~) with no autofocus, flash and anything fancy (not even the small mirror for self protrait but i think i am rather apt with taking my own shots)...
but other than that, this tough chick is handling it well! wifi (!!!nice i hope i have better luck getting online in sch!!!), touch screen (which bestie have since forever...lol), stylus (hmmmmmmm..), cute wall pic (UNC ROX) and hopefully i will learn to use the mobile MS officetoo~~ .. its fun playing around (slacker!) but a pain in the ass trying to manually type the nos. in cause my nos. are saved in the old phone and not in the SIM card...

...wars...

Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Even in the daylight, shine on
And when it’s late at night you can look inside
You won’t feel so alone
Light On. David Cook
A mother is not the stongest. They say women are strongest when they become mothers. When they have a child to look after, when they will do anything to protect the one born out of her.
Yes, a mother is strong. She is strong because her young needs her. But a child has a life of his own. He will go on from there and fulfil his destiny. He is born out of her but his life remains his alone. There comes a time when he has to be responsible for all he has done.
A woman, before she becomes a mother, needs to be a wife, a partner, a soulmate.
A woman is strongest when she becomes a wife. Because she has relished her rights to cry when she wants to, she has taken a path that should have no turning point, just the road towards light.
A woman is strongest when she makes the man that stands beside her, stonger and better than she can ever imagine. Stronger than herself, better than he can ever achieve on his own and with any other. A bigger man. Someone that can continue to be who he is, to become best, to acheive more even when she is not around.
I once commended that Padmé Amidala is weak... I must confess, I only watch very little of the movies, missing the much vital Revenge of the Sith because I hate to watch something when I know how it will turns out...bad
I was told, in shock by fans that she is one of the strongest lady seen. She is powerful and calm, a queen, with immense control.
Yes, she is powerful but to me, she is not seen as strong, now that I have seen the Revenge of the Sith. She is far from that when she is in love. Her love for Anakin is not strong enough for him to carry on with life when she dies. She cannot live her children's lives for them but she isn't even strong enough to live her life for them. Her death separates them. There are countless possibilities if she has been strong enough to stop Anakin from his road to darkness, if she had the will to live on for her babies and train them well, if she can still pull Anakin back into light with hope.
A woman is strongest when she makes the man better than he is. And a woman must be that before she becomes a mother.

blah blah blah blah...
I cant belive I have never talked about this...lol teevee shows!! (not in any order..lol)
TSCC
Just started. Ended my viewing of season 2 but missed lots of part though...
Thomas and Summer are brillant in their performances!! Dislike Sarah Conner for some reason or another... I think mothers who are burden with too heavy a load tend to irrate me for some reason.. remember Sara Fitzgerald in my sister's keepers (that coincidentally will be out in movies soon I think.. pity Ryan Gosling is being pulled out)?
love the relationship and dilemma~ watched the ep in shuffled style so it can get a little confusing (but there is always wiki!!)
the plot is not as strong even for a non-terminator fan who havent even seen any of the movies... (T4, that is not related, will be released in summer 09 looks fun though, with Christain Bale as John)
nice cast interaction and different attemps on how to tell the story.. lack of connectivity has been said to be the problem but I think is the deviation from the main plot (the 3 dots, jesse/riley? god these are irritating) that is really the prob..
mostly this happens to shows in season 2/3 but is too soon for TSCC since its S1 is only 8 ep long (cut short by WAG strike)
Not too much to look forward to since Sarah was left injured in cliff-hanger mid-season while looking for 3 dots and Riley (and hence Jesse) looks set to continue to be around for a while.. but Cameron is always nice to look forward to (and her interaction with John) and kyle will be around in the 1st upcoming ep (I think)...
Bones
Gosh, started watching it on teevee (instead of the lappie for a change) when it aired.. mid season 1 but couldnt get it at all... only till I started watching it in details when I was in UNC... not too complicated show.. like typical CSI/Cold Case shows, it follows the one murder or in this case one bone per ep.. interesting concept and I has been wanting to get the books that it is based on but deviate much from..
so with a best-seller author and anthopology on set as consultant and occassional guest star, you know the cases will be interesting and method fresh.. unlike most criminal shows, it's emphasis is on bones and booth chemistry ... but the writers want to keep the relationship tension taut while giving enough to satisfy the fans. According to reviews, they dont want a repeat of moonlight but rather the x-files mulder and scully success... tough balance, if I may say but the interactions and small things are what keeps it going...
Tiny wonders like more interaction, usual on Bones, more on booth's past when it returns
Ghost Whisperer
Woa, one of my parents' and grandma's fav supernatural/ghost shows on teevee, real easy to follow plot though it does comes with weird, out of the ordinary ep like the one with the cyber gaming one recently
that is the real cbs winning formula on fridays (incoming competition from re-scheduled TSCC and dollhouse, see below)
nicest and most normal (hmm except for the upcoming/next ep on teevee) relationship on teevee.. the love between Melinda and Jim/XXX (see upcoming ep for more details..lol I was really really shocked to see it and that how new it was on teevee in Spore... lol) is, as I told my mum, trouble/problems-free (again up till now) one seen..
sure it's a bummer when your wife can see ghosts and have to help them cross over, meaning lots of work taken back home.. but they seem to handle it really well... how they go on after the incident will really depends on the writing which can be a challenge since the plots have been simple but, really to be able to handle the corpse in the relationships (pun intended..lol) till S4 is pretty impressive too... so nice anticipation all in all
House M.D
k, this is the show, together with The office (which I dont watch since I believe its on teevee but without proper subtitles to a british comedy, I really cant understand the laughs.. friends, nanny was hard on a 5/6 years old but this can be hard on a 20 year old one too...lol) that I have not heard anyone say any bad things about before...
I heard its many people's fav when I was in US so I caught it too...lots of seasons to catch up on so I kinda watched it real quick. which if you have seen one ep, will know you wouldnt gain the whole picture
Its nice medical drama with dry/satire/depreciating humor.. much more medical than grey's, Scrubs and ER (ohf. that is one long one that is ending on a high I heard)
Nice interaction till S5, still cant really accept the new people in the team but they seem to be sticking... but its the best show for FOX for a reason.. the cases are always new and exciting... like cameron and chase relationship passionately when I first started. Personally, I love romance in my show but the story trail seems to have gone cold, with only occassional treats for fans..
Not too much to look forward to when it returns (except House and Cuddy budding relationship which I dont feel too much abt and Wilson/House interactions) but its a solid bet as always if you want quality writing
Grey's anatomy
Watching this is like on a rollarcoster ride.. one season we are up, the next we are down... we are now currently on the recover route (wish I could say the same for the economy and job market)
S1 was nice, lost me on S2 and 3, re-joined on end S4 till S5 but it's been a bumpy ride..
Love Sandra Oh's character but hate the fight with Ellen. Hate the new comers (Saddy's character, it took me a wiki moment to remember was the my fav hate character from Alias) love Mark Sloan and the budding underground romance with Lexie
Never have much feel abt McDreamy and Meredith... strange since their on-off-on-off and currently on (that will be permantly) is the central but I have never been too much of a passion fan of Ellen. Love Addison (not too much Private Practice.. Addison, like her show deserve a placing as a Surgeon in a reputable hospital, not cooped up in a confined area)
Not too much of a fan of Dead Denny and Izzy (she is fun to watch though) but like JDM enough(he got to be one of the few that has the most screen time as a dead lover... he is killed off in Supernatural too..lol).. like Karev and his character development and also Miranda Biley. Never been too much of a fan of Eric Hahn...her kill off got to be one of the worst on teevee.. though Burk is a real competition..lol I like Burk and what he is for Yang..Not much on Callie either...
Looking forward to Derek's mum (the mother from Judging Amy, Judging Amy is now coincidentially at Private Practice..lol) after the break and prob more of Mark and Lexie!!
Supernatural
I always have a soft spot for the Winchesters cause I have seen both in their debut/early shows Dean as Eric in Days of Our Lives, yes I am that old..in Dark Angel (oh my took me forever to figure him out then) and also in Smallville.
Sam as Dean (hahaha, Dean's character in Days actually has a twin called Sammy... insider's joke) in GG (another classic fav shows of mine)..
So, complicated plot that my mother was never interested, no matter how I tried selling it... really tight and connected.. I think it has to do with how the writer has a plot in mind from the start and is following the route (thus ending in a season or 2 from now.. sob sob).. at least with a general idea of what each season is abt and extend the cases from there...
Neat lines (Dean is a gem with jokes, funny faces and pranks), solid plots with a strong continuty that people commend is lacking in TSCC (it can be hard on those that didnt start from S1), great interactions.. v little romance and girl presence (the writer says its a road trip kinda format for a reason)
this season has been one awesome ep after another.. I rem starting in Aug08 and watching the first ep when Dean was ripped from Hell and hurl back into Earth.. mind blowing.. I was totally converted with this season.. obessed for a while..
New things to look for, more Castiel and Dean interaction, more brotherly bonding/chick flick moments and my wishful thinking that they will change Ruby character (aka Jessie McCartney's ex) back ...
Smallville
One word: Lois.
She is the main reason I watch this and sometimes Clark (interaction with her) and Green Arrow.. Can never stand Lana, never been a Lex or Chloe fan
With Lana and Lex departure, Lois and Clark has been gettting lots of screen time... great for shippers like us.. :)s
it has been around for 7 seasons for a reason, being one of the solid for CW. they are gearing up for 1 or 2 more season renewal (others can only pine for one ep by a time, one season by a time) even with Gossip Girl being hailed as the new fav for CW...
looking forward for more lois but she seems to be MIA-ing for the first few ep after the break (I will be absent then) doomsday has been greatly anticipated by fans but I am just ok with it since the plot hasnt been excellent.. whats more with his affactions/obessions for chloe..
I alway hung around for Lois and its fascinating how one person can carry the weight of the entire show.. she is excellently brillant as Lois which was why I hated Kate's protrayal of Lois in the movies.. She is too weak an actress for such a strong and festy character
Brothers and Sisters
Hmm, have been watching this on-off.. the Spore version is tooo censored.. all of kevin sceen times are almost cut off and I think that maybe why teevee might not get more B&S since Kevin marries Scotty and their relationship is central to the show...one of the most comfortable/cringe-free same-sex relationship I can stand on teevee.. never like Erica and Callie one
The lines are extremely funny and smart.. which can be hard when there are many writers on the show that works on different ep... but the justin rebecca thing was really bad.. I was rooting for it (only two young artist there with nice chemistry) but it seems like the whole S1 was a waste and the plot was just a round-a-about, especially since the writers incorporated it in because of the intensity between the real life actors (they might have broken off just as their reel screen couple got together)
Smart lines continue to be a welcome, but other than that, cant think of any thing that makes me want to see it real bad and ryan's appearance wouldnt help
OTH
Soap opera, with weird and sometimes out of touch plot... gulity pleasures still and it has been raking in regular viewerships for CW...
I like Haley and Nathan interactions immensely when I started though recently it has been rather blant.. never a huge Lucas maybe due to the distain for the real person's love life nor a huge Peyton (really dislike her at some points) fan
but brooke has been really good... her character development is the best among all. the rest seems to be constant or decreasing as season goes....
Havent been too attentive with the ep so nothing much to look forward to unless you count peyton's revelation on what's causing her to be ill and Lucas's movie.. brooke's storyline is much better though and seeing how she may carry on with Owen..
omgoodgoblin.. that is a long list... bear in mind these are the currents ones that I do regularly watch..!! too much~
anyways there are others like pushing daisies (canned already, vo by the same guy who does hp audio books!),
gossip girls (really not my type, cant understand the hype.. its like 4 to 6 characters and they rotate partners every other season/episode),
scrubs (brillant but too many seasons to catch up on),
lost, desperate housewives, prison break (three of which I have totally been lost in the plots), ugly betty (can only say soap opera, though I alway enjoy humor of Mac and Amanda and interactions of Betty and Daniel)...
I have seen episodes or part of episodes at least (utube clips~) of those above.. tell me I am not too much of of teevee person. peef~
the WAG writers strikes threw most of the plots into a mess, many came back messier than possible (personally: Grey's, B&S, Bones, TSCC or so they say, ), some came back better than ever (SUPERNATURAL, need I say more?!)...
then some jerked back into the new sesason in Aug08 after the summer break that has absoulately no shows except for re-runs and So You Think You Can Dance... and other similar dance reality shows that in my opinion not as good as SYTYCD... hit the brakes every year (I didnt know that!) for the mid season/christmas break that is just wayyyy tooo long.. these damn breaks are always during term breaks!! arg~
now there are talks about an actor strikes though I think chances are slimmer.. sigh, people keep the creative juicies flowing.. am dying with cliff hangers..
am not too much of a review person... I usually takes what is given/writers do... but have been reading more forums and seeing reports that usually cloud your viewing but still, these are general thought about shows and their viewing potentials...lol
anyways, not too clear abt any new shows except sci-fi dollhouse (Joss Wheldon + Eliza.. need I scream more?!!!) and not too clear abt the new episodes either.. just know they all start when my sch starts (some are even in Feb...wohot good luck to the fans) and with new schedules for FOX shows (House, TSCC, Bones) and some shuffling.. show biz is a big business..lol
